I am Kethrin Lin, the daughter and only child of Master Lin by his number one wife. He has always wanted me to get involved in the running of his trading company, but I had other ideas. I trained as a monk and entered the emperor's service until one day, while we were suppressing rebellion in Shang Village, I confronted Master Fhungusu, who ripped me out of my complacent life as an imperial officer and dropped me penniless and broken in Dallerjuba Village, a small fishing community near Tanvu.

Dallerjuba Village

Old Man Kanjaro has offered me redemption and I decided that maybe I can walk away from the madness after all. He began to teach me humility by having me help the local villagers with their small tasks. He then sent me to learn from one of his students, Oki.

I found a corpse at Oki's hut and set out to avenge her, only to find Oki at the end of a trail of things looted from her hut. It appears that the Kojuko have entered Telon through a portal and are raiding the village. I helped her and Juu defend the village and learn more about them and they sent me on the Master Tallon Darkfist for further training.

Master Tallon Darkfist instructed me about Jin, the mystical force that permeates all. I had to make a choice about how I would use the Jin (positively on the path of Lao`Jin or negatively on the path of Ra`Jin); I chose Lao`Jin!. Several of his disciples helped me learn as well.

He then sent me on to Lao'Jin Master Yaol in the Ghost Wind Academy for additional training. I learned from several of Master Yaol's students and helped defend the academy against the Ra'Jin. He sent me on to Master Kaol in Tanvu (who told me to explore the city and come back when I am ready to continue).

Tanvu

I am starting to explore Tanvu, a good size town. I need to rest for a bit and learn a bit about the finer aspects of life.

Learning to Craft

As I was wandering the city outskirts, I cam across Sho Pan Rosewood, the local Harvesting Supply Vendor. He taught me to skin animals and reap plants for textile production.

I also met Mias Dragonsky, the local Harvesting Advisor, who agreed to teach me how to craft. I chose the path of the Artificer with the goal of becoming a Carpenter. She send me to the Master Artificer, Alasani Northdragon, who began my training. Mias then walked me through my first work order and item assembly.

Beginning Diplomacy

Hido Kani Dawnstar taught me the art of diplomacy and sent me to Asa-ii Greenbridge to earn a place as a Clerk of the People in the civil service. Hido said he would mentor me through the ranks of the Bureaucracy. I learned that under the Magistrate are Juritors who direct the actions of the Clerks and defend the law.

I convinced some clerks to approve my approach to some juritors who in approved my application. Haroji Jadedragon, a Magistrate, asked to interview interview me and asked me about the treason he saw in my mind. After admitting it, he told me that my value to the emperor in the crisis with the Ulvari outweighs my prior acts, truly faced.

The Houses are divided in this crisis, breaking the unity that once held sway. Houses Aurora and Windwalker know than they say.

I have risen to the rank of Clerk of the Red Silk; I have the favor of the Jadedragon. Haroji wishes me to become a Juritor; he assigned me to help investigate a murder and when I succeeded, promoted me. He then sent me on to talk to Lan Cho Puregrace, a priestess that wishes to examine me and assigned me another murder to investigate.

There appears to be a "dream war" between entities not of this world; the faceless side (the Ulvari) seems to incite murder and resisting the dreams seems to help the shifting form side (the Jin).

I was then presented to magistrate Fai Lin Aurora who taught me more and asked for help. I helped her deal with some problems in the city. She is preparing me to fight with Aurora and Threecranes in the dream war.

Houses Aurora, Threecranes, and Windwalker seem to be standing together to lead the Empires fight in the shadow war. They are currently aligned against Houses Goldendoor, Lotusfield, and Dawnstar; House Jadedragon appears neutral.

Fai Lin sent me to the House of Threecranes. After gaining their trust, they game me more preparation for the dream war.

Aurora and Threecranes form the core of the defense. Wintersun are sometimes allies and Windwalkers wish to ally but are contaminated by the Ulvari. Jadedragon are resisting. Goldendoor, Wintersun, Lotusfield, Summersky are all enemies (take over by the Ulvari). Dawnstar is being tempted but seems to be resisting.

I was brought before Windwalker, Lotusfield, and Dawnstar, condemned for helping Aurora. After refusing to help them, they promoted my to Juritor of the Empire and released me from the service of the Emperor, a mark of shame. Even with that, I still have a place within the ranks of House Aurora.

I have decided to emphasize my Dexterity and Strength attributes with any left over in Constitution
