Starting Out

Dealing with the Vaelwyn Threat

After leaving my mother's den, I was sent out to Whitefawn Retreat to help Gilfir Whitefawn cleanse Fullmoon Spring. It seems the Vaelwyn are trying to corrupt the spring.

After I finished that, Gilfir sent me on to Celahir Greybranch at the Shimmerlake Garrison. His garrison is tasked with attacking the Vaelwyn Citadel and I helped prepare the assault. I also recovered a vial of poison that I must take to Elder Nootsu in Ca'ial Brael.

Nootsu, in turn, asked me to help him with a rite to strengthen the wards around Ca'ial Breal that keep out the Ulvari out (they were behind the Vaelwyn menace). After we finished, he told me to visit Uvela in the Autumnglow Outpost, north of the city.

Learning Diplomacy

I decided to take Celahir's advice and talk to Mino, the Raki diplomacy trainer. She gave me my initial training as a diplomat and then sent me to learn a bit about our history.

Wnen my initial training was complete she sent me to the Raki elders. It is clear that they hope to have some input into the governance of Ca'ial Breal and hope that diplomats like me will learn to influence the Wood Elves and to take our places in the halls of power here. To that end they sent me to negotiate with members of the council.

We realize that we need to do something to make the Wood Elves take us seriously. To that end I have been sent to investigate a crystal one of our people "found" and was not permitted to study.

Becoming a Tailor

I want to do things with my hands, perhaps even more than with my mouth. To that end I spoke with Ratesh Uland in the Hall of Artisans and Aloran Earthspire in the fields nearby. Ratesh sent me to Perun to learn the Outfitter's trade. Aloran taught me to harvest plant fibers and skin animals for making cloth and leather.
