[edit] Mechanics[edit] Ranger FletchingYou jump into a clearing, there stands a group of bloodthirsty orcs, you equip your bow, shoot.... and find you have no arrows! Well you are in luck if you are a Ranger. If you have been using the /forage command as you have travelled to that clearing you should have collected, among other things: "Pristine Chicken Feather", "Jagged Rock", and "Flimsy Reed". Ok now they seem to be the ingredients that would make an arrow or two. The question is: how do I assemble them without a crafting bench, or the crafting skill? The answer is.. write a macro. To create a macro in VSoH simply right click any empty hot key on your hotbar, and this will bring up the macro edit module. Give your macro a name, in this case we use "Arrows", select an icon, an arrow would make sense here. The last step is to write the macro as shown below:
Save the macro. Next time you need arrows and have the three ingredients in your inventory, all you need to do is press the hotkey "Arrows", and even while riding or walking you will craft five arrows. The /forage command also works while you are running, walking or riding, it just slows you down to a walking pace.
