Catalysts, often just called "dusts", are used to enhance crafted items. They are consumed during the crafting process. Different catalysts affect different ingredients: beginning crafters can only enhance items by enhancing the raw materials; more advanced crafters can enhance primary or secondary components.

The table below shows the name an item will have when enhanced with one of the attribute-boosting dusts. A DEX-enhanced leather bundle, for instance, will be called a Brigand's Leather Bundle at Tier 1.
