This was a fun combination in EQLive

Zek Server + Safe Fall = FUN

I got more kills from people following me off of things where the height was nothing to me, but lethal to them. Of course, it was pretty tough for a rogue to kill anything but a warrior (or cleric - but you didn't attack clerics) though the normal ways, but hey, it was still lots of fun.

My second favorite memory is trains in Blackburrow. Man, that was fun. You never knew when you were going to turn around to find 20 angry gnolls in your face.

Re: Oldschool EQ

I can't remember what level I was, but I was a young Wood Elf Ranger when I first had to cross through Kithicor Forest. Remember the fear associated with that? People would warn you to time it so that you weren't crossing it at night when it got down right terrifying.

I hope there are dynamic places like that in Vanguard.

Oh - and feeding the Blackburrow gnolls while camping the brewer. Not a great memory since I camped for a long, long time... but it was kind of fun to learn gnollish that way.

Ahh.. One of my favorite Everquest memories was admiring the Great Fansy and his epic adventures. I still visit his site on a regular basis.. Aaah.. Fansy. What a role model..
