Everquest : Favorite Expansion

Just wondering where everyone's head is at. What was your favorite Everquest Expansion? Mine had to be Scars of Velious I started playing eq in highschool in the kunark era then they released Scars of Velious and that really drew me into the game. For the icy expansion of SoV it had a quaint warmness to it that's memories still warm my heart today. Interested in what you all have to say on this topic...share your memories! (note: I've only included up to Omens of War because that's how far I went in EQ if you liked further expansions post so)

Planes of Power for me hands down. It was pretty buggy for awhile but after the extreme annoyance of Luclin it was like a breath of fresh air and there were so many boss mobs to kill it kept us busy for many months.

Yea Pirotess, PoP was gonna be my first choice but SoV got me I had alot of fond fond memories from that era, and raiding Temple of Veeshan and exping pretty much from 50 to 60 in Velketor's Labyrinth lol, then there was fun groups in the Tower of Frozen Shadows. Everquest had so much content that it makes me wonder if Vanguard will always stand in it's shadow, I hope not. I'm surprised by the lack of comments on this post tho, wondering if many even know this game is by the people who made everquest I figured there would of been more fans of the legendary game.

I must agree, PoP was the one that I enjoyed the most.

I picked Scars. ToV will always hold a special place in my heart. The quests (ring and shawl) are still some of the best in my humble opinion. XP was not rediculous and loot was well balanced.

Velious was good times. I met CEJ too.

Scars was my second choice, but I went with Kunark. Great dungeons, dragons, and it finally fixed the overcrowded high level dungeon issues that made the game much more enjoyable. The fun level in EQ jumped much further from the Old World to Kunark then it did from Kunark to Scars. Scars did have some great levels, though.

After a bit of thought I ended up voting for "Lost Dungeon of Norrath". Out of all of the expansions the game had to offer this is the expansion who's content I probabally used the most. Kunark and Luclin were great but it ultimately was "Lost Dungeons of Norrath" that prevented me from quiting the game. If it wasn't for that expansion I would have quit the game a couple of years earlier. It was also helped max out my friends lists on my characters.

interesting Arctic_Slicer I liked LDoN because it helped boost my characters stats but I always ran into some of the biggest idiots on runs that were outside of my guilds... it was either people who didn't know what they were doing who thought they did, or those who were elitist who thought anyone other then themselves and the cleric they were boxing were inferior lol ( these were all outside groups) had trouble getting groups outside of guild being a rogue. I fear I may be one of those jerks because I want to play vanguard with two accounts, make my main stay char and a healer. LDoN had alot of creature features that came along with it, I must admit I spent most of my out of raid time running instances trying to collect the bost rune stones for my various slotted PoP gear. When GoD, and OoW came out I found that you could skip LDoN's tedious adventuring and find stones that were equal or lesser value to what you could spend weeks trying to attain from LDoN.

I liked Kunark because I got to make my SK leeezard, and He was ALOT of fun, not to mention powerful n pointy

PoP had to have been the best for me. Cut hours off traveling and more into active gaming.
