Re: Everquest : Favorite Expansion
I would say kunark was my favorite, cause that was when i got to start playing the game with my friends. I had the game from the start but either my friends didn't get it till kunark or i didn't find out they already had it till then, lol.

Re: Everquest : Favorite Expansion
PoP gets my vote. It was based on timing for me though, I can totally understand why a lot of people hated it because it took EQ in a new direction. Personally though, I was ready to start raiding hardcore about when it came out and I had a ton of fun with it.
Other than that SoV, the stories, the zones, the mobs, the balance. I thought it was a very solid and very fun expansion. |

Re: Everquest : Favorite Expansion
SoV was a very immersive experience. It offered tons of different types of content, and just when you thought you'd seen it all, you found out about PoG or Sleeper's Tomb.
Picking a side for your armor quests, seeing Lodizal or helping someone do the 10th ring war. Velious just had a lot to offer and felt very developed with many differnt "layers" of content for different types of players at different points in their development. |

Re: Everquest : Favorite Expansion
Ruins of Kunark was the best expansion, the graphic upgrades werent bad either thats for sure...however the expansions depending on which one you want to focus on, made certain things useless for example...POP expansion rendered druids and wizards that much less likely to make a living off porting...untill they alowed druids to heal just about as well as clerics... LOL*sigh* the expansions killed the game.

Re: Everquest : Favorite Expansion
They should come out with a EverQuest classic game where it only has specific expansions as a base game from the original..tweek the battle system a little bit but dont make it as big as EQ has become..and then just add content every once in a while. Include people to play it and huzaah!
