Alliance Shaman... Horde Paladin

How will the tide of battle be affected by the institutionalization of Horde Paladin and Alliance Shaman, or shall it not be affected at all by the adoption of the rival faction classes by the opposing creeds? I personally look foward to seeing the Alliance have shaman, because Blizzard can tune up paladin all they want and say they are up to par with shaman, but I'm here and first most to call B.S. shaman are way overpowered and now the playing field has been leveled... GAME ON!

Heh. The playing field was never level, and probably will not ever be. Shamen are overpowered in PVP - this is true, but not in PVE. Besides, there will be 5,000,000 blood elves after the first 4 months, but only 5000 or so Wimps.

yes only the new race of draenei can be shaman for alliance, and only blood elves can be paladin.

In most battles if any of you ever played on a pvp server i was on Bleeding Hollow..some of the worst pvp battles you can imagine have gone on there.

the deciding factor of the battle sometimes was solely dependent on the classes fighting..it was more interesting to be either horde or alliance because of that class difference gave them their own benefits/disadvantages made it more realistic...now that both factions have access to all classes there will be no differences between them and imo that takes out some of the fun of picking alliance over horde...or horde over alliance. Ive never seen a Horde paladin before and the very thought is dumb lol..NE sham is believable maybe..but still was a bad move...by blizzard..and since they did do that they needed to release another 2 classes that are faction specific.

P.S. Please someone give us a MMORPG thats worth actually paying money for.

I'm pretty sure that as it was stated above your post, only the new race can be shaman, so NE can't be shaman, blizzard didn't do that, and besides, they created the Warcraft universe and can pretty much do what ever they want in any of their games involving it.

I tend to agree with you Gares91 in that blizzard can do pretty much anything they want with the game because it's based off of warcraft so it gives them alot of options as far as class/race combo's go. I think what he was saying is he could see a alliance having shaman if night elf could be them, but draenei are clearly slated as a shamanistic race so I don't see why them being on the alliance would stop them from being shaman. As for blood elves being the true meaning of a paladin if they are "evil"... then no, however if they took on the attributes of a paladin then why couldn't they run around under that name, who's in the WoW universe acting as a GM saying no no you can't be that they are holy only. And then again how can we say that all horde is evil, Tauren, Orc, and Troll do not come off as evil to me, but maybe it's all subjective.
