looking for game to play while waiting

as ive mentioned before in other posts, i , as well as others im sure, am kinda in between games and since my parents arnt exactly happy with how much im on the computer as it is dont want me buying a new game so, does anyone know any good free games( preferably mmos but any sort of free games are good )

EDIT: oh yeah and i include demos as free games so if you know a good demo let me know

City of Villains currently has a 14 day free trial through MMORPG.com

if its anything like CIty of Heroes you can probably spend those 14 days making characters and never play the game and still have fun :P

I woud suggest either;

Saga of Ryzom, which is looking great right now with the new 'Ring' free expansion and it's free unlimited trial. Really deserves a re-evaluation

OR

Neverwinter Nights 2, which is just looking great in both solo campaign and online mode, and as a bonus shouldnt tie you down for ages, like SoR might, so your ready to go when VG launches.

Of course... a Beta invite is better then both of these, but never that lucky personally so for me it's one or the other.

I actually tried this trial and, have to be honest, I burned out on the game by the end of it... Saying that though, to be fair, I had played CoH for a year a while back and maybe it was just because it was so similar. It has definitly got a lot going for it, just not enough to keep me hooked in for a long time.

Thinking about it, might be perfect for the 4-7ish months 'till launch...

While I'm not actually recommending them, as after the first little bit they seem to be nothing but grinding, but both "Silk Road Online" and "Redemption Online" are free MMORPG's.

Thats what I do. Some you will need to Download the game AND an emulator so you can actually play it. Some of the games are revers engineered so aren't called the original name but still will have the same game play.

Heh Never Winter Nights 2 flew in under my radar. Didnt hear any big fanfare for that game.

I think with all the industry rage being for MMORPGS these days a lot of people have missed it Piro, and who can blame them with the cash cows a successful MMO represents, but it's actually looking really nice.
