An interesting offer from File Planet; you don't even need to be a FP subscriber. You can get your key and the game/expansion from here : http://www.fileplanet.com/promotions/eq2/ I played EQ2 for a couple months when it came out, and stopped at around 32 with a Barbarian Bruiser. Going to check out the improvements they've made, as I've heard they are making many. Anyways, if you've never tried it, and are curious, it's a nice time to get a glimpse. I'm playing a Half Elf Qeynosian Conjuror on Permafrost; name is Khyz.
Probably won't be on tonight, but I plan on leveling him up some soon (level 7 on the starting Isle, still). |

Right on, I'll roll up a Monk on Permafrost then
 I'll edit this post with my name once I figure out what I can get haha.Edit: H'okay, made a Wood Elf Monk named Cobaalt. Got him up to level 7 too before calling it quits for now.

I tried using it on a pre-existing account and no-go. I believe you have to create a totally new SOE account.

That sucks
 I already had the game still installed from when I used to play EQII, so I just made a new account for the 30 day trial. Lycrist, I'm halfway through 7 now and in Qeynos doing its new n00b yard quests. Let me know on AIM when/if you're going to play
