Utility template, anyone?

Haven't crafted much, what info is needed for utilities? I can make up a template if I know what's needed.

Off the top of my head (and it's late, and some kid in the hall has been squashing it), you'd need to know what crafts use a given utility - several are used by more than one, like Cleaner.

Other factors - is it a primary utility? ... not sure how valuable this is.

Some are pure complication-countering utilities, like bandages, and many come in more potent versions (harvested, as WO rewards, looted maybe?). The rare harvested utilities used to come in stacks of 35 instead of 25 so that might want to be noted, but I haven't seen any in live so I'm not sure if this still holds true.

Wow. Didn't know I could ramble even more impressively than usual when I'm exhausted. I'll blame the painkillers this time (with some justification).

I added a first guess at a base table structure for utilities. Additional information on things like rares might be added after the table. The content was off my head while away from the game; extreme editing welcome.

I added a few more, but without descriptions.

If we are doing "Recipe Use" by profession, should we do "Complications" the same way?

Given what you said, I decided to try a different approach (one that I hope is easier to use as a resource. I can live without the descriptions; I doubt they really add anything to the table.

I updated the Artificer column to be more accurate. Also changed yesses to centered x. There are still a couple of utilities missing though aren't there? Or maybe just one. Mordant?

Yes, Shinto put in his Blacksmith experience and I added a couple of outfitter examples just to test the table structure, so I am sure it is not complete yet. If I can remember the vendor listings, there should be about 15 or so (2 and a half columns).

I have added all of the ones that I have used so far in smithing, but I am not at the highest level yet. I'm sure that more will be added as people discover them.
