Oh, I concur -- it is awesome.

The ability icon database is missing the icon for the spell " torture" -- If someone can tell me how to upload it into the database I will =)

You can click on Upload File in the left menu of the wiki, upload the image (with appropriate name (simple descriptive), and put the image on the page [[Image:imagename.fileextention]] where imagename is of course the name and the fileextention is .jpg, .pgn, or .gif.

Alternately you can put the image code into your page, save it, click on the redlink for the image and upload it that way.

Please be sure to add your image to a category. [[Category:Icons]] and [[Category:Ability Icons]].

Hmm. I searched my Vanguard files for the ability icons, but them seem to be .aby files? i expected XML -- perhaps im looking in the wrong place?

Anybody know where they are?


Also I left a line in the code something like this:

;everything from here down needs to be checked for cost and such

I was using a lvl 1 char so that I could get the lvls of the skills my lvl 13 had already correct. So I left myself a note ( i thought ) in the code for when I jumped chars and looked back over them.

I took the line out, but now it shows on the dread knight page, above the list of abilities. Its no in the abilities code, nor in the code that says " Edit this at the Dread Knight Abilities Page " -- but it still shows up, right under that link.

I am so confused =*(

You need to put that on the abilities page between the tags

<noinclude> and </noinclude>

. That way it's not included in the "transclusion" of that page over on the dread knight class page.

Make sense?

As for the icons, will get back to you on that.

An example is on the Necromancer Class page. I put in a note saying that all spells 12+ were based on trainer info. I wanted this information included on the class page, so on the spells page, I put it outside the

<noinclude> code.

Oh ok I see. Before I was simply trying to leave a note to myself an in the ( small ) coding experience I have, you can generally type a ";" before the note and it will leave it out of the code -- of course that is different from language to language.


I was wondering who did the necro page lol, there was a TON of info.
