Any news on Warrior love?
I shouldn't be writing this right now but I have to vent my frustration somewhere, the bloody game rolled me back about 70% xp, support couldn't give a toss.
My solo capability as a warrior is just plain shite due to subpar damage and extremely poor mitigation in offensive stance, I'm getting owned by mobs my level and todays patch upgraded the damage on skills I couldn't care less about, who cares what damage warders bulwark does? it's a defensive finisher. Do they have any plans to review the warrior class? it's annoying to see my sorceror friends soloing 3 dot mobs two levels higher than them and I'm struggling with 2 dot mobs my level. So far this is the weakest incarnation of a warrior I have ever seen, they don't deserve the title "Warrior", change them to "Generic Meatshield Only". |

I agree. Today's patch was totally disapointing and extremely frustrating.
The Warrior needs an overhaul, and needs it now. Not just piece meal throw us a bone to shut us up flippant arbitrary changes. At level 45, I'm a Warrior brought to his knees each and every time I log on to play this class. I can only imagine what we will play like in our current form on Raids. |

Excuses/reasons to put up with nonsense like the warrior class.
Tough it out - Most 95% of people playing wars didn't start the class to sit in the back seat. They picked it because when $hit hits the fan...thats who people look too. Reroll- This should never have to be an alternative. People play with what time they got to enjoy the game. Not play some class there forced too because the one they started is gimp beyond all means. Bottom line...there is no excuse. None of these are legitimate alternatives. I know I have pitched gripes like this before but I feel if they aren't brought up often they will get shoved aside. Aggro needs fixed Offensive Dmg output needs fixed Chains need to be appropriate and working properly We need more reasons for groups to want us Durability needs to be tossed or fixed These are just a few important ones I can think of off the top of my head. I sure hope they get to these soon my patience is thinning fast lol. Im not going to re-roll either. I refuse to negate all my played time thus far just because people are ignoring my characters class. There is no good reason a group would want a Warrior when they can have a DK or a Paladin. we don't dps worth a damned. We can't hold aggro like the other classes. We don't bring near as much to the table for group buffs. We are rangerfied basically. A class without much purpose. I can tank in a group if I have too...but i would rather let a pally 2 levels lower tank because at least he can keep aggro now. /rant off Sorry just letting off frusteration. This is really bothering my gameplay. On the plus side I have maxxed out my harvesting skills and worked my crafting in the meantime :roll:

I only adventured a little bit today, we went exploring in MoP. Anyways, I think the little increases in our defensive moves helps a bit in aggro. Not much, but it helps a bit. The Psis seemed to be pulling aggro a little less today then previously.
On another note, I don't think our aoe taunt got fixed. I'm pretty sure it still does nothing. What has everyone else seen? I didn't get a lot of playtime in so I can't be sure our aoe taunt is still broken. Biggest things for me: Get rid of durability Better aggro in defensive stance i.e. better then other tanks OR give us commands that actually do something. We need to be bringing something to the plate that other tanks aren't. Atm tanking there is nothing. More dps in offensive stance, or reduce the mitigation penalty or both. |

I have to disagree for one reason. The only reason it is so noticeable is because Paladins and Dread Knights aggro is so much higher then ours. If I ask a pally to take aggro boom its done, and I can't get it back. If I ask a Dk the same...I get the same results. I however am not able to take aggro from them at will. I am lucky if my rescues even work.
Another reason I am against this is because I don't want rangers bards sorc's and other aggro heavy classes going balls to the wall with aggro and having to fight them all the time. I want them to learn aggro management. 95% of DPS classes have aggro reduction...I have seen 5% use them.

True, but then there are classes like druids. They get no dehates but at the same time they can pull aggro a lot if they try. Maybe they should be used as a benchmark for what's an acceptable level of hate.
Right now our druid uses the sit and cast no spells and pray he doesn't die while I rescue a lot when he pulls hate. |

How do I know this? I get sympathy tells all the time. Playing this class is so damm frustrating you want to SCREAM. I was told in beta that the warrior only starts to shine after level 30. Welp, I'm level 45 and the only thing that shines on my Warrior is his dirt worn armor that means very little when I can't even hold aggro. |
