Destroy? - Page 3

I've been killing rotblood warriors for 3 hours now, all i get is the message that i have learned more about it. i have yet to actually learn the ability, what's the deal here?

As long as you are getting the message then it's working, it takes time.

I spent 3-4 hours in the ghoul wing at Greystone, took quite a while to learn and for the most part my skill learning was somewhat bugged and I only ever recieved one update.

My BMG friend spent two hours by himself at RoVT (at level 44) and a further 20 kills of the correct type when I arrived before he learned his skill.

The end result is well worth the time required to get it.

SEen our post over at Silkyvenom, it's possible it's a bug but you'd be the first person I know of to not be able to actually learn it.

Any idea how many times you've seen the update? I know of a Shammie who got te update 18 times before he learned the skill.

If it still refuses to update maybe you are best leaving it until level 42, at 42 you can learn Destroy II, you still need to learn Destroy I before you are able to use it but when I went back to learn Destroy I my very first kill taught me the skill, I had never been to RoVT before.

When I hit 34 I went straight to killing rotblood warriors with seeing the message about 30+ times, and that's with not getting the message every kill. So after that long I had enough and left the place and forgot about it. Well when I hit 37 I had some spare time and ran back to Vol Tuniel to see if I can get it a bit easier this time. Well I spent three hours there killing rotblood warriors and maybe 70+ updates on it this time.

It just doesn't seem right.

There is definately something wrong there, 70+ updates is excessive.

Other than trying Destroy II at level 42 and then going back for Destroy I don't know what to tell you, like I said doing it that way around allowed me to get Destroy I off a single kill.

It needs a bug report for sure, you can petition but I doubt there is much they can do.

This is a stupid question but it needed asking, even though it's giving you the updates still I take it Destroy is definately NOT in your abilites book? I'm 99.9% certain this isn;t the case but it's best to throw it out there just in case.

Yeah I looked multiple times, not there. I also tried typing /cast Destroy I etc.

I guess i'll have to wait till i can try destroy II

Destroy I: Lvl 34 - Rotblood Warriors, Troglodytes or Warriors of Krigen in Ruins of Vol Tuniel

Destory II: Graystone (as stated above

)

Destory III: I have heard this is obtainable at 50 from Rahz Inkur from the Champion mob (not 50 yet so havent tried it yet)

I can confirm that Destroy III is from the Champions in the arena part of Rhaz Inkur as well as the Palace Guards inside. Me and another warrior learned it tonight.

It doesn't seem to require that you know Destroy II either, as I learned it without knowing II.

Those of you having trouble learning them, you have to be tanking the mob and the mob has to use in on you. You may want to consider taking off some armor so that it can get its chain going more easily.

Once you have one of the mobs that teaches it, you can, with sufficient healing, simply let the one mob beat on you until you learn the ability.
