Destroy I (Warning 2 screenshots inside)

After the patch today i logged in much saddened at the loss of Cry of Solace I only to find that the very mobs i was soloing gave me a new skill called Destroy I

The Arach Stonespinners gave me updates on the skill, all other spiders there gave no updates, finding Arach Stonspinners is very easy they are level 20ish spiders in CiS (That is in Qalia) you can look at the link below to see exactly where i was located while hunting these.



After about 10 minutes (And about 10 - 12 updates) i got this.



The skill seems bugged in the fact that it does not actualy go into your skillbook and you cannot use it (yet) but this is definatly intended to be a warrior skill, i now get the completed message over and over when killing these spiders, annoying for now but i am sure that will also be fixed soon(ish). Enjoy.

Learned Destroy 1 & 2 today @ level 11, or it said I did, no icon in my abilities book either.

I "trained" killing lions and mountain goats, surprisingly, or maybe not so surprisingly. While I received the message that I was "learning" Destroy 1 several times, the game never reported that I successfully learned the skill, but then I saw one "you have begun learning Destroy 2" message. Then on the next lion, I had "learned Destroy 2."

This whole learning thing has me excited, i could easily see multiple mobs being able to teach you skills, now the question is who is the volunteer to make a list of skills and mobs you can learn the skill from at what level?

what I dont understand is you learned at 19 from spiders and Chagas learned at 11. Is it random?

The way i understand it is that mobs that use the skill in question can teach it, regardless of the mob level.

I "learned" that skill at level 6 from broken fangs near Halagard. I got multiple messages something like "You have learn more about destroy 1" and I also got multiple messages "You have learned Destroy 1!" then I again start learning destroy 1... bugged as hell, but I'm looking forward.

Nice way to learn new tricks.

Destroy is after Obliterate though, it's likely that even though you trained it, it's not available until you reach the lvl requirement for it normally.

I learned this as well, anyone know what level you are able to use it?

I learned this spell today. I was fighting Rekk Hobgoblins around Renton Keep doing missive quests. Saw a shiny new axe with 20+ DPS on it from a 10 missive reward so I have been trying to get it. Stumbled onto these guys and they gave me my skill decimate. They are roughly level 16 or 17. Didn't have to do anything extensive. I ran around aggro'd a couple and ran and learned Destroy as I was training them away :P

I am currently having a problem with this ability.

When the research is 'complete', I get a nice little message and (of course) do not actually learn anything. I understand that this is currently broken.

HOWEVER - when the research starts over again, I crash to character select. Every. Single. Time.

Does anyone have a fix for this, or know what might be causing it?
