Cry of Solace I skill learned from mobs.

It would seem that not all our skills are learned thru the trianers, i just picked up a skill from watching mobs i was fighting use it.

Cry of Solace I

War Cry Your Group
Range: 10 Cast: Instant
Refresh: 1:00

This Warcry provides 328 health to you and your allies.

Basicly it is a small group heal on a 1 minute timer, the timer is not the same as our battle cries as i can use it and then use Stunning Bellow right after.

I found this skill in the Tauthien camp right ouside the East Angoer bunker in Qalia I was fighting the Tauthien Disciples (Level 18 2 dot) and noticed they where healing, when i did not interupt their skill i would get an update occasionaly saying that "Your understanding of Cry of Solace I has Advance, you require more study" in blue on my scree, after about a dozen of these updates the skill was automaticaly added to my skillbar.

Now this may be old news to many of new but it is new to me and quite a nice little find, i like the concept of learning in the field. Anybody else have any skills they know of like this?

Thanks for the info what lvl were ya and where might you have been when u learned it? I love the fact that you can learn skills from mobs and evil foe. Makes it more realistic. Its like sitting and watching someone knit...eventually you will pick it up just by repetition and learning what there doing.

I was level 18 and solo, annoying mobs due to the heals but nothing overly hard. The skill does not list a level so i really do not know if there is a minimum level to learn this, the mobs are 18 - 19 so i would assume around that level would be good.

Cry of Solace is a level 18 Paladin spell. This is a bug and Sigil is aware of it, so don't get too attached to your new baby. :P

A pally in chat also learned eagle eye (A definatly non pally skill) this way and from what i seem to have understood from the conversation we had in channel it seems like this was also a feature in beta for some skills.

Do you have a link to the post about Sigil being aware this is a bug? If so i will stop looking for new skills and save myself time

Keen eye III I got off the level 23 ** Lizards. bloodletters I believe. up near Cyclops Island

Secret of Ice. I got in KC dungeon I think cuase I dont remember learning it but had it after that place.

I cannot get Secret of Ice to work for me. It does nothing.
