Issue with Chain Reactions in Defensive Stance
I play a level 15 warrior currently and just recently got the defensive stance finishing chain and I have an issue with it.
Whenever I get a crit with an ability in defensive stance (Shield Bash and Taunting Strike) the finisher lights up (the defensive one, can't remember the name, something Slice), or at least should light up. Problem is, both of those attacks around the second crit as time goes on will instead light up Decimate, which if I attempt to use it will toss me into offensive stance, much to the chagrin of my group. Just wondering if this is a known bug that everyone has and I should just suffer with it and not use the finisher in def stance, or if I'm doing something wrong somehow. Thanks.

Kinda figured things out for myself last night, oddly, while drunk. Apparently, Stinging Cut has a fairly significant cooldown. So after it's been used, and something else crits during the time it's cooling down, the only thing that can pop is decimate, which wigs the bar out. So my work around is putting Stinging Cut on my normal hotbar so I always have it available to click.

Also once you reach level 22 you get a second Finisher, 'Battle Frenzy I'.
This one usually appears at the same time as Decimate, so you have to make seperate hotkeys for it as well, as your ChainReaction hotkey will just fire off Decimate by default. Thank goodness for DroxUI and the Numpad hotkey Bar. |
