Offensive stance macro
Hiya,
After talking to a bard friend of mine who's been using a lot of macros and also getting tired of missing finishers because I'm not paying attention to the little icons lighting up, I played around with the macros a bit. This seems to work well, with the only real downside being that it's trivialized most of my soloing down to 1 key press. Otoh, at least it lets me pay attention to the game instead of the icons. I'm doing this from memory so some of the names might be off. This is my setup at 13th level. /cast "Decimate I" /cast "Riposte I" /cast "Kick 2" /cast that other opener /cast "Brutal Strike II" Every time you run the macro, it goes down and casts the first available 'spell', then stops. So if your finishers are lit up, it will take that, if they aren't available, it will go down the list until it finds something that it can cast. Not sure whether kick should be in there or not. Since it's a stun, it might be better to keep it seperate but I have it in for now so I can get some skillups, I kept forgetting to use it before. One other thing you might want to do is turn off the error texts, otherwise you'll get a couple of 'this action is not ready' messages every time you use it. |

That is similar to what I do. I dont put kick in there, but keep it separate.
There are also: /reactionautochain /reactionautocounter I havent tried those, but maybe they work well and lessen the amount of error message spamage you get. Also, would remove the need to keep you spell names up to date. |
