I agree. For soloing the most important thing is getting a good weapon. I have some nice armor but my mitigation is still 0% in offensive stance. Casters have more mitigation then we do.
It's all about killing the mob before it kills you, so get a good weapon for max dps. |

Personally, any warrior who doesnt utilize shield is gimping themselves. I solo in defensive stance.
A) Taunting strike only uses 9 endurance and does the same or more damage then brutal strike that takes 24 endurance. B) +15% mitigation +15% Block on top of my 25% shield, hover over your defense rating next time your in game with a good shield on you can break 40% block chance. thats insaine. Anyone who ignores a shields benefit is not playing with all their abilities. Especially our shield counter that deals damage and stuns, shield bash that has a chance to stun. Adamant Foeman +60% chance to block for 15 endurance. People are trying to make their warriors all out offense ignoring our biggest benefit. We last a long time in a fight. You will never see me using a 2handed or dual wield thats for sure. -Silverbeard Dwarven Warrior of Gulgrethor |

Soloing with Warrior
I do no know what level of warriors you are, but I feel as a soloing god. I saw paladins and dks solo, and they arent even close. I was killing twice as fast.
The word is: Offensive + Leap Attack. You simply leap attack (almost always crits) then Do the finisher for like 400-700 dmg. If the mob is still alive, then repeat. 3 dot even con mobs are max 3 repeats of this. |

Not sure what you guys are getting at with griping about DPS. I happen to think my DPS is rather nice. Get a nice 2hander weapon and go offensive form Leap attack into a Decimate attack. Average hit for 500...have gotten just an epic crit for 1660 on it. I watch my Sorcerer friend when we have two mobs in camp. He takes one I take the other and he finishes first of course but im not far behind him. With those DPS abilities and being able to switch stances and tank I feel they have balanced it out superbly.
I have about 3800 defense in my defensive stance with shield that has 20% block ratio. Using my 60% block ability I got I can mitigate like no other. at 16 this group was begging me to tank over a lvl 18 pally in Khegors end. All the cleric had to do was throw a HoT on me and I was gtg. Should really learn the ins and outs of your char before making sensationlist claims. I for one am VERY happy with the balance warriors got. My Warrior in EQ could tank all day long but could never come close to sniffing an actual DPS class.
