I agree 100%. I like it. I rarely jump over the mob, I backpedal and jump attack right in front of the mob then hit my finisher.
I think it's also meant as a soloing ability, not as something to be used regularly in groups. The advantage of the ability is to use it to get the crit off of it. While soloing this ability lets us pump out some serious dps making us a great solo class. If you can't stand it I'd suggest rerolling. The way it's built now it's almost a class defining ability and your soloing strength between using it and not using it is night and day. |

I also experimented briefly with it in the MT role - it works but I am not sure I'd use it when things get busy. |

I experimented with using it when tanking. I like it and work it into my cycle. What I do is I use it when I pull.
Infuriating shot to pull > Leap attack to turn the mob > Stinging cut off the crit > go to your regular cycle. Then if for some reason you're fighting for over 30 seconds (the cooldown on Stinging cut) like maybe there are 2 mobs then I'll leap attack again to get stinging cut off. I use it to control when stinging cut goes off and it helps build up a lot of hate. |

Also I notice stinging cut doesn't crit as much when you leap attack in defensive form. If you want a guaranteed SC, then be in offensive, leap, and hit the button for stinging. You will auto switch to defensive by default unless you toggled it off.
I hated the animation and are glad they changed it. I did work around it but backpedaling first, but it was still ugly and looked stupid. The mechanic is a great idea, nice gap closer, nice damage, reason to not want to get in close with a warrior. However it needs work, and the recent nerf is too extreme. On a side note I wish I could toggle my stance through a button so I can flip between offensive (to hit decimate when SC isnt up) and defensive easily. |

For me the most problem that it was only one way to keep pvp target in melee range (our stun on 1min cd), also it was nice to jump over your target so your opponent could lose you for a sec.
I dont care much about crit chance e.t.c but now we havnt snares, we lost leap and warrior becomes to easy kiteable. Its huge PvP nerf imo, I agrred that LA was OP before, but well, decrease crit chance/damage or give another ability with low endurance cost which will do only leap without any damage. Sorry for English, its my second language ![]() |

I sometimes use Leap Attack, but not often.
I find the... I refuse to call it a jump... the bunnyhop, to be rather annoying. 90% of the time it overshoots the mob, and if you don't do a 180 while midair, the attack will miss due to not having a line of sight, and the whole theater act was pointless. It is good to trigger a crit and thus decimate followup IF you manage to turn around mid-air. I'd like to see it have a longer range if it is going to stay the way it is animation wise. You have to get within aggro range of the mob anyhow to even use it, and when you click it, the mob is racing towards you and you overshoot it, again, as always. It does have a nifty overhead chop animation if you land just right and don't trigger decimate right off, since decimate overrides the chop animation and starts swinging you around instead. Suggestions, Longer range, Better, should I say, more aggressive animation, keeping the weapons up and ready to strike while midair to get some power behind it. Autoface turned on for the duration of the attack/animation in order to ensure that you actually hit the mob and don't just waste the endurance on doing a silly bunnyhop. Rename the whole thing to Overhead Cut or something silimar and make the animation have you take one step back from the mob then lean in for a weigthed overhead chop. *shrugs* |
