I pulled about 14 points out of wisdom and put them into STR. I didn't notice any difference in my perception checks.
I'm thinking about redistributing some CON to STR also. I agree with your assessment, DEX is #1 with STR/CON about equal and close behind DEX. |

So no one sees any value in putting points into vitality? I figure we're going to have another stat reallocation at some point and decided to go 2str 3dex 3Con 2Vit per 10 pts. I noticed a significant jump in incombat healing over time. Now granted obviously if we're in group we'll have a healer and it will prolly be less noticable when soloing but, I've always been a fan of incombat regen. Plus theres a power boost with it.
Prechange I had been going 1str 3 dex 2 con 2wis ever y8 points. This time around I wanted to see if vitality would make a difference. |

If you're a healer then vitality is good. I dont know why you'd put points into vitality otherwise.
I'm going to do the same thing I've been doing since day 1. Dex 4, Con 4, Str 2. Sure con sucks at lower levels but you see a good return on hps once you get closer to cap. About noticing who the targets on. I've gotten used to the ????? so it doesn't phase me now. I just look up at the screen to see what the mob's doing and look at the health bars if I know it's not on me. |

It is hard to say but I usually go with maxing DPS which means maxing dex and str with the rest in con. Previously str didn't help dps enough to warrant maxing (IMO) but now I think it does, especially since it helps blocking.
I like the added resists from con better than the HP gain. Damage mitigation is better than overall HPs since it means less damage to heal, thus a healers mana pool won't get taxed as easily. It is both great and frustrating that I feel I should be maxing all three ![]() |

When I got the 95 refunt points, I tried switching around str con dex. And here's what I figured out.
Every 1 point in STR gives almost 1 dps. To be procise it's somewhere beterrn 0.8-0.9 per str Keeping STR max, I tried switching around between con and dex Max con, the rest in DEX, I got 50 more HP for a total of 2k-ish. Max DEX, the rest in CON, I got 0.8% more crit chance. Also a little over 1% more parry chance. Either way, both CON and DEX seem to suck. So it's up to you... 2% more HP, or 1% more crit+parry? Doesn't sound like any of those will make any difference.... |

Con sucks at lower levels but the closer you get to cap the better the returns are. I've forgotten the formula, but at 50 it's supposed to be 4 hps per point of con. So a dwarf will have 500 more hps then a halfling at cap.
I'm torn on what to do. My previous plan was 4 Dex, 4 Con, 2 Str but now I'm not so sure. I'm thinking of 4 Con, 3 Dex, 3 Str for argo and parry chance. |

Doing 4 STR, 4 DEX, and 2 CON as a Wood Elf at the moment, might flip it around at lvl 50 or if they do other changes, but for now that's what I'm going with.
HP seems adequate in groups, I need some more damage soaking through evasion or Armor Class.

I guess Ive been going the unpopular route since the revamp..
I've been going STR, CON, DEX STR helps me do more damage (hold more hate) and increases blocks. Works for me. CON although the HP increase is minimal, the resistances seem to add up, especially with the right jewlery. Physical Resist adds to my melee mitigation. DEX Increase in evasion, increase in crits. Haven't really compared STR vs DEX as far as what it does to my total defense. But, if I want to crit, I'll just use leap attack. Id rather use my points in damage + block than crit + evasion for now Maybe I'm wrong, but just how I respecced. |
