Yeap. I can't use infurating shot anymore. Not too sure if it meant for higher levels.
2 things I noticed which I'm not too sure if they are bugs: 1) Infuriating shot still have a range of 65 as stated in the tooltip. That is looong. 2) I revamped my UI and I placed Riposte (The counterattack move) and a finishing on a normal secondary toolbar instead of a reaction tool bar. So what happens is the riposte button always remains lighted up, which is a pain since I never know when I blocked. |

They keep doing this to every class they heavily modify. Any one see what they did to Blood Mages with all those changes the other day? Half of their abilities ended up like your ranged taunt, they just couldn't use them.

Since I'm playing on a pvp server come release many of my observations are still biased towards class balance but I'll try and stick to PvE for the purposes of this thread. I have to say I really don't like the warrior today vs. 3 days ago (pre-100% crit bug).
I dislike the new endurance regen, it makes combat really slow, so slow that I'm sure any novice to mmo's could pick it up easily and quickly. On the other hand it also means that holding aggro or MT'ing is much harder when you have much less chances to use your skills, one miss under the new system and you are going to have a tough time maintaining aggro, especially vs. casters. After coming off the 100% crit rate patch the new crit rate seems too low for my character with maxxed soft cap dex (maxxed in attribute +'s), I would like to see more crits at lower levels, perhaps there is a way to scale crit rates for levels so that on the upper end it's more gear based and on the lower end you have a higher built in crit rate??? I'm not sure if shield bash has been tweaked but it seems to be missing more now, that could just be lack of a thorough testing but I was for sure noticing more misses than usual today, this is a skill I rely heavily on as a 1h/shield war and with the new endurance regen system this many misses is frustrating to me. PvP balance - Not going to go there really until all classes have received their revamp and the devs are comfortable with what they have and are looking for feedback from the players. For those not on a pvp server try out dueling, try dueling a cleric, try dueling a bmg, try dueling a ranger, try dueling a shaman. On the whole, the new "feel" of my warrior is enough that I would not play it on release, where as a week ago I would have chosen my warrior over the other classes I've tried out. It's effectiveness has been dulled imo but it's not the end of the world, each day I've seen classes go from one end of the spectrum to the other. That's just my feedback on the last patch. Actually this is the first patch since I started my warrior 2 weeks ago that I have ANYTHING negative to say about the warrior. |

The critical hit rate was bugged before the 100% patch and was too high. Critical hits aren't supposed to be done every so often.
What about shield bash? Combat was made so you will have misses now. It actually gives some benefit to + melee accuracy buffs and gear. Also duing level 1 - 30 you shouldn't be hitting 100% all of the times anyways! :-p The new endurance system doesn't bother me, it would bother me if I spammed but I do not so I can hardly notice it. Combat isn't as slow as you may think. Where have you been hunting? What level are you? Specifics can help your arguement move further. |
