What melee types for a duo?

I wil be playing this game along with my wife...I prefer to whoop the %^&*( out of stuff up close and she likes burst damage.

I also like the Kura and Vul.....(wolf ppl). I was hoping to make a Vulmane warrior and her a rogue for some more @ss rapage.

I was thinking beserker for me but since they wont be out at release I will stay warrior. That said, do you think we will have a chance as this game is more group friendly than anything else?

Well, they're meant to be having some content for small groups (2 or 3 players), and my girlfriend and I are thinking of going with the Warrior / Ranger Kurashasa duo ourselves, so let's hope it's viable

Yea hopefully there is some stuff to do for a couple people without a major support class always having to be around.

If you want my opinion, a good duo would be a warrior and a disciple. The disciple is a matial artist healer. They specialize in melee damage more so than say a bloodmage (healer that has high magic damage). This way the disciple can get in there and fight with you, debuff the mob for you, AND heal you as well. With that combo I think you would do alot more and would have a higher success rate. Not only that, it would be much easier to build a group with those two if needed. You'd already have two of the most desired types needed for group play (tank and healer).

It's a good point, though unfortunately neither Vulmane nor Kurashasa can be Disciples... if you're not fussy about race and can convince your partner to be the class you want them to be, then it's a good idea

I'll put my money on a warrior/ ranger duo as being great for kicking ass. Count on it.

Well, I read some more of the descriptions....I think Warrior/Ranger will be our duo as well. Rangers have the ability to do some healing....Im sure that will help in tight situations.

Also, the tracking ability will be very usefull.

Guess we will play Kura then, me a male and her a female. I will probably make a black panther.....or lion. her, no clue, probably leopard or tiger.

Anyway, guess its time to figure out tradeskills to complement our classes and each other.

Thanks!
