Best Warrior Race?

What will you play? Lesser Giant? Barb? Human? Others?

I will be playing a Wood Elf Inquisitor, but there seems to be plenty traditional fantasy heavy armor wearing races, including Orcs, Half Giants, and Humans. I bet a large number of tanks will play Orc or Half Giant for the possible increase to hp and strength.

We don't know what the racial stats are yet but I think it's very likely Lesser Giants are going to be one of the big picks. Guessing they'll have the most STR but hopefully not the most STR and STA. I don't really care for clear cut winners. Stats are supposed to be more meaningfull then in pervious games so hopefully a warrior with high AGI will be a vieable choice.

I remember reading that the racial differences won't be you start out with more of a stat but rather your cap for a given stat per level will be higher or lower. Like a Lesser Giant might have the highest STR cap per level but a fairly low INT cap per level. You'll need to spend points when you level up and find gear to actually achieve that cap. This way at the end game the racial differences remain and also you don't have really strong casters if they didn't chose to be really strong.

EDIT: Well to be honest it really does depend on what my buddy plays. I'll prolly end up being a lesser giant anyway, then running him wherever since i have more time to play, but in an extreme case i might have to play some crappy race. (j/k!)

will, im going to go for a barb warrior, it just seems to fit the bill so well, with it being that barb ppl have a reputation for being the warrior race and orcs do aswell of and maybe dwarfs, but still, im going to for a barb warrior.

I'm sure you'll be alright with a barb. However, if you ever decide that you want a little extra meat behind that shield, go for an L-Giant.

well i have to say, the L-giant looks abit lanky, tall and skinny, and i dont like the look of them, but thats my opinion, u might like them, but a barb looks like the most probable race i will play

If I do decide to work up a Warrior I will probably go Vulmane, as the concept of howling and charging a mob just makes me all happy inside.
