Best Trio thoughts/advice PLZ!
Hi guys, this is my first post here, and I am Thnik, short for Thnikaman from Homestarrunner cartoons anyhow I am here and my background is simple, EQ for 6 years then WoW for 6 months.
I played a Warrior to lvl 50 in original EQ then on expansions played a Pally to 70 w/ Uqua level gear and 250+ aa's. Myself, my brother and my roommate are going to make a trio and I was wondering your advice on classes. We want security. To put in EQ terms we want Tank (WAR), Healer (CLR), and CC and/or Atk slows (ENC/SHM). We are leaning towards War/clr/psi atm. That is where you guys come in, Thanks for your input. T |

Thx TDD for that,
I just think of our trio as the three main parts to a group and if we have to pick up 3 random others we will be gtg. If I know I can trust the tank (me) the healer and CCer... then we will be secure imo. Thanks all for replies/posts keep up the good work, T |

That trio should be pretty solid.
A good rule of thumb for making multiple person group is make sure each archetype is filled up first. So that has been done already with your trio. I will be starting Vanguard off will a 3 other friends, making a static 4 person group: Warrior, Necro, Ranger, and Cleric. With that set-up it should be solid enough to do some of the lighter to medium content without having to do the full group makeup. It will be interesting to see how much we can do with just the 4 of us. |
