Weapons, and Hello.
I don't know how many of you are old EQ players, but when I was playing my Warrior during Luclin I was annoyed that the amount of high quality axes was almost nil. There were plenty of swords, too many honestly, a few blunt weapons, and a number of two handers, but there were something like 2 axes. Playing a Cleric through PoP and GoD I noticed that this trend stayed the same, was there even one one-hand axe in all of PoTime? If there was I can't remember it. As a Dwarf War in Vanguard I would really like the opportunity to always wield axes without having to sacrifice stats. Even if it takes me another month to get a specific weapon.
I registered here recently because the VG gameplay forum has been dreck for the last number of months. So hello to you all. |

At first I was dead set on going for the largest type of longsword for my Warrior. However, some of my buddies are urging me to reconsider going for the largest 1handed axes instead. I'm beginning to agree with them.
I think that axes will be just as abundant in Vanguard as swords were in EQ. In EQ2 they mixed it up a lot more. There were some grizzly looking axes. The best axe graphic ever was the Toxiferous Axe (Ranger Only) in EQ. |
