Yes I overstated the 3-dot stuff. I meant 3-dots 2 levels below. Even cons just have too many misses or whatever and so I find myself running away about 1 in 3, which is too much time wasted (and dangerous).
Did they ever fix teh Offensive form mitigation bug? If they fix that I think that will help A TON. If they haven't then in O-stance our damage mitigation is around 0%. With teh fix it'll be 80% of whatever your armor is. D-stance could use a 10% DPS bump IMO, since it can't really compete with O-stance (though maybe it shouldn't, but I don't block/parry/absorb all that much more in D-stance which I find somewhat disapointing. I hope it gets better as I level up and also D-stance has all the taunts which is why I use it in grps to tank). Otherwise, if they don't bring other classes down then warriors should get about a 10-15% DPS bumpage or better damage mitigation (I'd rather have the block/parry/mitigation since I play a tank to be a tank and soloing 2-dots for XP is pretty easy and fast atm). Anyways, still early and at least warriors are in ok shape. |

Best advice is to upgrade your gear on every single chance you have, either investing time on quest (group quests too) and on broker.
Im level 24, lesser giant, i have good gear for a solo and pick up groups person, nothing close to the static group warriors that are around. I have a couple of lvl 30 shortsword of striking (25DPS) and i usually solo doublewielding them. On this setup, i can solo 3 dot even cons (granted i dont get adds) or one level above if i use racial, fights are close calls, and if i get to miss the -myrdidonian kick- i get into serious trouble, but for a class that usually relays on a group, this is an alternative. Malachai, Targonor. |

It doesn't always work. Sometimes kick or decimate misses, though that is rare (still annoyingly often enough though! And yes, kick skill is maxed). I find lag kills about 1 in 8 tries (lag causes MG to time out before it registers decimate button hit). I'd say I get about 5 out of every 6 attempts to work correctly.
make sure you start with kick before you do anything else so that decimate timer is not on and you can hit decimate right after you kick (can macro this). |

Well I tried this last night and it doesn't work very well.
/cast "Myrmidon's Gift" /cast "Kick III" /cast "Decimate II" /cast "Obliterate I" - Sometimes Kick doesn't activate which breaks the chain. Seems random. When it does, it will do MG > KIck > Deci instantly which is cool, however the flakiness of it's success makes it innefficient to use as a macro. (I prefer to just activate manually rather than spam the macro which lags out the UI and spams the chat box) - Macro doesn't take into account global cooldowns so it tries to do everything instantly which obviously doesn't work (no /pause command to address this) |

I always open with the 15% reduction to targets mitigation then use the macro
I also have added power attack and the self buff to the macro before MG to get a boost. By using the mitigation debuff + self buffs first the decimate crits go from about 700-800 to up to 1200-1300 (level 20-22) I always have to manually trigger oblit after the macro as the gc will stop it. if you do it fast enuf MG will still be active and give you a crit for oblit too. One thing i noticed is that a lot of the time Oblit wont light up however pressing the hot key for it after a Decimate will trigger it anyway. Personally ive gotten into a habit of always pressing the chain key a couple times after a Decimate just to make sure it triggers before moving to next cycle. 2h / DW are much better when you use the MG macro however when its on cool down I find sword and board gives you more chains since chield bash crits about as much as kick does. Cheers Roaring |
