Thestra Human Defensive stance quest

I was a thestra barbarian in Beta but due to pvp requirements I rolled a Thestra Human in release. I'm level 11 and I still don't have defensive stance. Was curious if I have to go to another races starting area or what? Neither of my trainers have the quest for it at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Don't know where your starting area is, but Halgarad had it at the end of Beta.

My starting area is Thursh. And it's a team pvp server so I don't think I can go to Hal

I feel ya.. I am almost lv10 (halfling) on thestra and I've been searching for the defensive stance quest for probably 5 hours last night with no luck.... can anyone give us some insight into where the defensive trainer is? thanks in advance.

I ran to the dwarven starting town and did it there. Also if you are a miner there are a bunch of copper nodes on the way up there seeing as how they are sparce by Thursh.

Now what is really unpleasant here is, that I am a Vanajar Barbarian, and the def stance quest on Flamehammer is bugged now. The quest guy to spar is not where he should be, but half way down the rockwall, unreachable.

I went all the way to Turish to try to find the def stance quest there. No luck. Goin to the dwarves is not an option for me they are KOS to me.

What the hell should I do?

I am in the same situation as Shadowsil. I've reported the bug and hoped that today’s patch would indicate a fix but no luck.

The lack of defensive stance is detrimental to the success of a group in many situations.

This really needs to be addressed or an option provided.

You can do it in Khal.

I visited the dwarf warrior trainer at BC and he did not offer the defensive stance at Level 6. Is this something I get later than that?
