Sorry but you are wrong, when i my Psi was born the aa feature i already had, but somewhere down the road, can't recall which update my aa was gone, wasn't in my ability book and could not train it from my Master, but a few day's ago i went to my Master again to see if somethng might be added cause sometimes i remember hearing "check your trainer for new ability's" but most of the time no new ability's until like i said a few day's back, i noticed on the top of learning skill "auto attack" bought the skill and have it back again. This is the only skill that disappeared on me, i had 2 skills only change their icons, other then that nothing (knock on wood) ever bad happend to me (well unless i did something stupid myself:P like dying with a lvl 12 near a lvl30/40 area and ending up at that zone's altar with a just used boundstone so no way to warp back then to either try and survive or to sit still at the altar for another hour

You're both right, actually.

Yes, auto-attack is generally learned at creation, and lives in the general tab. Yes, it's a skill you can see available on your trainer (or was, I haven't checked lately).

However, a few patches back the autoattack skill was lost and relearned, which is why it vanished off people's hotbars -- at a guess, this was to fix the number of people who had somehow lost their autoattack skill and couldn't get it back from their trainers, who are supposed to have it available but don't always (especially if you'd already bought it off them once before).
