BUG: Writs Quest from Beacon of Halfeez (or something)

I 'did' this in Beta, apparantly the same way...wrong now again in live lol...

I know people who have completed this so it seems it might be a bug in the order of completion (which means the quest is bugged to ALLOW an out of order completion to bork you)

I got the writ from the one on the tower base. The one by the wagon will not give me a writ. Says I need to prove myself still. Thing is, the quest says to do her quests till she gives it to me. She has no more quests. I am not lvl 14 - I started at 11 and she never lit up another quest for me... I did her quest(s) right off - unfortunately I bleieve BEFORE I took the 'Get Writs" quest from guy at top of the tower.

This is an easy mistake because you may not notice him up there or you may, like I did, have a temporary bug that made the inside of the tower be ALL BLACK - featureless not 'dark'. I could not navigate the stairs in there as I couldnt see anything once inside. If I tried to go up any more I would have had to recall out lol...

I have the exact same problem as you - found the Beacon of Halfeez, did a few quests for random people, never bothered to climb up the tower. Then I saw your thread, went up the tower, got the writs quests, and while one of the NPCs still has a quest or two for me (so I could get his writ), the other, Ara?, doesn't have anymore quests for me (she only had one iirc and I already did it) and refuses to give me a writ.

It would be helpful if the two NPCs that give the writs would send one to the NPC on the beacon and refuse to give out quests until one has the "get two writs" quests. Does anyone if the writs are later required for something?

Same here, i was kinda disappointed.
Did them all in the right order with my disciple, then switched to a psi and thinked about going "the fast way" and so did all the quests before going up the beacon...

Verified the converse with an alt.

Got my HE Psi over there to swap with my necro into my reg group and got the tower quest before completing the assistants and therefore got a write from each.

I doubt this will be addressed soon (look at Message for Yhatar and Find Apenpipletpifflelongnamewhatever quests, hey the Apen one they even claimed was fixed and could loot the journal ) which isn't so bad if it was a regular quest (there are alot to choose from KUDOS!) but it is the only quest I know of leading into the Haekmesh Expedition dungeon which I was told was a 'premier' dungeon so probably be nice to see the quest lore for it
