Can't find Mines or Bandits - Thremnwars Shield
Hi all, thanks in advance...
I am having some difficulty finding (excuse my spelling but these I can't seem to remember the exact names of places yet) the Khegor? mines or the Bandits in the forest and hills. I got these quests from a friendly dwarf at the Damn (Themnwars Shield?) and can't seem to find them anywhere. I did a few quests here (Fallen Star etc) but these don't show on my map anywhere. If possible, can someone point me in the right direction  Oh, one more thing. What's is a good way to earn enough gold to purchase a horse? I'm level 11 and can't seem to find enough items to sell adventuring to make more then a few copper. Thanks again in advance. I appreciate the help! |

For those needing an extra hint... there's a spider quest in Themnwar's Shield in which the spiders are along the less traveled path leading to Khegor's End (the mine). You have to go up into the mountains to find them.

Yes, if you just take a short excursion along the road that goes up the cliff from the Shield and then turns back, you're bound to get a few Detection skill-ups... and I think you know what that will mean.
And as someone already said, find the recluse spider community and you'll also find the entrance to Khegor's End.

Find the road heading west from the dam and follow it until you see a small broken signpost in the ground. You should then see a small dirt path. That leads to Khegor's End.
As for making coin... do the quests, as that will provide you with coin, item and XP. Sell all loot that you can't use. Don't spend your coin on stuff you don't need. The cheapest mount costs 12 silvers and 50 coppers, you can find the horse merchant in the stables in Merchant's Hold inside the dwarf city if you are a dwarf.
