Hunting Trophies

Close to the Widow Bridge there is a hunter extraordinaire asking you to help him out. I just can't find the Surefooted buck nor the Ridge Bear. Have any of you guys seen those animals?

I just did this..which will be embarrassing if my directions stink...

okay you want to head for the little fishhook looking road below(south) of BC, you'll find the deer(stag?) there and I only ever saw 1 bear spawn on my multiple CR's back to that cave where there are quests..that apparently give an elf bloodmage a life expectecny counted in minutes...

The road is tricky to find, there is a little dwarf girl on the side of the main road (from BC) and a cut through (but no path) through some bolders, the road takes up again after the cut, but the dwarf girl is a good marker where it is, I want to say her name is...amma, or something along that line. sorry my mental notes are not better.

I found the surefooted buck near the ridge creepers (big purple spiders that are more numerous in the fallen lands). That was certainly a fun pull!

The bears like to get stuck in the mountains. Last night, there were two walking back and forth inside the mountain. So close, and yet I couldn't kill them. I'm hoping that they'll be wandering proper paths tonight.

I did /bug it.

I found everything but the bears then ditched it as another bugged quest after i saw some shadows wandering round behind the cliff face i figured they were spawning inside scenery.
