bad quests make homer go something, something

i couldn't really find a place for people to compare notes on certain quests gone bad, so i figured i'd throw it here. lemme know if i missed it somewhere.

anyways, i had 2 quests in which i had problems.

1. Proof is in the Pain - i couldn't get the monsters to fight.

2. Horse Sales (i think that's what it was called) - i was s'posed to take an offer to some guy. irudem something i believe. i don't have the name's in front of me, so don't hate me for being wrong on that part. but when i found where the guy was, he was surrounded by lvl 40 KOS' and i believe that even the npc i was s'posed to talk to was agro as well. kinda weird if you ask me.

so, anyone else have any problems with these or maybe even other quests you might have had trouble with?

Being KOS to a faction or race has to to do with what race you and what faction standings you have, perhaps you've picked up a quest that isn't designed for your race, you're probably able to complete it, you'd just need to influence the faction balance enough to do so I guess.

As for finding the mobs on a quest, I'm sure they're there you probably just want to read the quest info carefully and look again.

actually, you're probably right on the second quest problem, but the first one i listed, i found the monsters. you're supposed to get an effigy of rage and this other thing to fight. they do actually come together, but they don't fight. i did find someone else on the server having the same issue. i /bug-ged it so hopefully i'll find something out. now if i could only raise my faction with those other guys without destroying the factions i already have. lol. thanx for the reply Cal.

For anyone still reading, Proof is in the Pain was fixed in today's patch. The creatures now fight.
