New Class Specific Forums

Class specific forums, this must be new because I am certain I didn't see those up there the other day. Also the fact there are no threads in any of them is another sign that they are new. Does this mean that this more general class forum is destined to disapear and have all of the existing threads moved to more appopriate forums or will this one remain with only certain threads being moved or simply leaving all existing threads here then moving future threads that appear here that do not belong here to the appropriate class forum? Certainally a nice and welcome addition to the forums even though they are bound to be underused until we get more people over here. Nice to see that this site is finally getting the updates in deserves and is preparing to support a more broad and vibrant community in the future.

Aye, I set them up yesterday afternoon so they are new. Now that Amoonsinas is helping on the news I have the time to support the site in the capacity I always expected to, implementing new features. I currently have all the class specific sections locked as we dont have enough traffic to warrant using them yet. My rough plan at the moment is unlock each one as Sigil officially announces the class description for each class and discussion naturally picks up immediately afterwards. I like having all my ducks in order before they are needed.

Nice to that you are planing ahead. It's also nice to see that you updated you class sections somewhat. It's still missing a class but you finally removed the non-existant summoner from the listing which is good as it will help prevent confusing people who visit this site in the future.

The missing Berzerker is by choice. The class index was actually updated quite some time ago but got overwritten during a content push. I've since gone back and reapplied the changes of the summoner and druid since I had copies of the content readily on hand. I decided not to add the Berzerker to the class index however since our class sections are currently being overhauled entirely and I see no reason to do new work on a page thats going to be ripped out in a week or two anyway.

Class forums are a great idea, as long as it doesn't become a "My Class is better than your class" arguement, besides we all know rogue classes are the best

Fairly hypocritical of you to say rogues are the best class isn't it? Actually we don't really know much about any of the classes in "Vanguard: Saga of Heroes" at this point save for the warrior who Oloh has been given the permission to talk about to some detail. That said we really don't know how most of the other classes will play out beyond the basic and some classes like the Blood Mage are a total mystery.
