Macros?
I dont want to start a flame war over whether or not macros should be in this game or not.
I played more of SWG than any mmo so far and i liked macros in that game, made for a lot less button pushing and more enjoyment. So my question is, is there an in game macro set up? or is there another way? how do you key bind multiple things to one push? |

Re: Macros?
It allows multiples, but there are no pauses or other scripting commands available. For example, I have a macro for getting my corpse that's surrounded by hostiles that goes:
/targetmy /corpse /lootall It targets my corpse, drags it to me, and loots it. However, there is a split second delay involved in summoning, so the /lootall command won't work on the same button press as the rest of it. I could make it work if a pause was available, but there isn't, so I just have to hit the button twice. That's acceptable to me; better than making two separate macros.

Re: Macros?
hmm i liked macro's in ffxi, except they were very limited, as in you could only have like.. 10 out at a time i think. and you coul donly put 5 lines in it. i was a bard so it came in handy
/p ...i sing a little song for you... for eva and eva... /song "Blade Madrigal" <me> /wait 11 /song "knights Minne IV" <me> lol those were my melee songs.. ish = D think they will have something similar to that? with wait times and all? or maybe a commant to trigger another macro? that almost seems like your asking for botters tho..

Re: Macros?
Macros (pl?) are a good way to add functionality and tailor the ui to your own needs. It can be abused and you will see multiple botters, but just remember they won't be experiencing the awesome game play experience that you do. Fighting without consequence is a dull dull game my friends.
