Groups Worth While?

I just hope ppl will want my class in a group so far what i read does not look to good

Why wouldn't anyone want a sorcerer? All I've seen on the channels today has been "group looking for dps, pst" heheh All a sorcerer is is dps (or dd depending on your view).

Seems i read in a few places on forms of folks that are playing beta that the sorc is nothing special and the bard and phim or mind guy is the one folks will favor hehe thats why i spoke like that hope to be real good in counter spells and then damage so will be wanted more hehe

What "channels" is this you speak of? I hate feeling like a n00b but are there any other "special" channels one should know about for think like trying to find a group? I only have the default "chat" right now. I know in EQ2 they have lvl range channels that really helped finding a grp your lvl.

::edit:: Oh and not to be a pain in the butt but could you edit the thread title to read "Worth" instead of "Wort" please. I know, silly request but it bugs me for some reason every time I read this thread lol.

Just regional chat ( was in Khal - so I think it was one of the Qalia chats).

I don't know if these channels will make it into live. We'll see.

I'm sure there will be a group pick up channel at live, also the social window's group tab is handy for picking up groups. My mate and I played as a group thru all the quest up level 9, I was disicple and he was dreadknight and it was much more fun and easier to learn the areas, how to do quests and to pass cash around for items. So groups are so worth it, we were killing level 10at level 7 with ease.
