Adventure destinations
Where would you like to go beside the mystical glades of fairies, the land of giants/dragon. What do you think should be implemented that hasn't been done or just done correctly.
1. I would like to go in a Tower of "god/heaven" Xenogears had a massive tower that you had to climb up but in a mmorpg world i would love to see a tower where every time you must start at level 1. Not even some fluff level, pretty hard stuff for end game gamers from the start. 2. I think horizons best thing about it was the exploration but the lack of high end content for the Hard Core gamers. I can remember just running around for hours looking for harder monsters and exploring and i found this Waterfall and behind the water fall where Golems but they where still cake for me to solo. I love the hidden dungeon behind the waterfall. 3. I would like to see a hidden treasure in the lore. Back in my UO days i would spend hours at the library and NPC's houses, reading the various books and in Marrowind/Oblivion would spend time reading about history/ local mobs and current troubles the villagers were facing. Maybe even hide a treasure somewhere where u must follow the clues and travel around the various continents and sail the seas in search for this treasure that may not even exist =) The reason people play MMORPGS is because they can do things that that cant do in real life... but the reason i want to play Vanguard is because i want to do things i cant do in other MMORPGS. You can slay Dragons,Giants,Unicorns,Fairies,Chimeras, Gods, other humans, Collect rares, own a house, explore uncharted lands in alot of other games but there has to be something that hasn't been thought of. Anyone have anything else that would like to see done better or haven't been done yet? |

Re: Adventure destinations
A witch's cottage where you get shrunk and have to fight huge rats. For comedy's sake they will be level 1 with level 1 drops.
![]() A Escher building where space is warped so bad that it's inside isn't bound by it's outside -- the inside is larger than the outside, the directions you move make no sense, and maps are impossible. Like this but about 10 times worse.

Re: Adventure destinations
Id like to see a better dragons lair than we've seen before. No game to date has really given a dragons lair the proper atmosphere it deserves in my opinion. I want troves of treasure and steam and streams of acid or something.
I'd also like to see a better underworld than we have in the past. Something that really makes you feel like you are going deep deep into the world. I'd like to see it complete with bioluminescence and different creatures, etc. I'd also like to see a better underwater dungeon thats not annoying to fight in and doesnt make you nauseus.

Re: Adventure destinations
I really agree with number 3, thats the kind of thing that would make this game stand out from WoW and everything else.
If all of the continents work like they seem to, I can't really think of anything they dont have.

Re: Adventure destinations
I would like to see a game where people see each other as more than just categories like tank, DPS, healer. Make warriors able to be the killers, or something.
I'd also like to see midrange content. WoW had low-end stuff for me to do, and I knew about the high end stuff; but lvls 36-46 I was bored mindless with. Also, unique items that only exist one/server, the first one to reach it gets it.

Or maybe FFXI style where you could just go home and change classes.
