Tell me about it... or they would spawn at like 9:00AM while i'm at college. Either way, I was asleep or at college so I wasn't there killing him. Heh

Re: CORE players

I remember far too often, while playing WoW, when three of my friends and I would camp Kazzak (an outdoor raid boss) for 24 hours straight so we'd get the kill.

Hehe, on my server I helped kill Kazzak once - in an organized PuG.

It seems that no guilds are farming world bosses on Dalaran anymore, heh.

It will be interesting to see if the unwritten rules hold true in Vanguard without instances inforcing them. will players respect each other or will it be a dog eats dog sociaty.

Anyways both are exciting especially on Pvp servers, isn't it ? . It can be funny to see 2 clans fight for a mob.

Erhm ... well ... exciting until it comes to corpse camping or so . Ok i might be wrong

Well it certainly didn't end up that way in FFXI. The game became as contested and competative as possible, where the matter of snagging named rare spawns was a game of how fast you could claim the mob, since encounters (being able to attack) were locked.

Conversely, I see a possible return to EQ's ettiquite if everything is open again. But, who knows. Might depend on the server. PvPites tend to be more competative and aggressive than RPites for example

Re: CORE players

It also relates to Race US players tend to be more competitive than Europeans, there again Korean Players are just plain scary.

Re: CORE players

Blizzard actually had to instate a Kazzak grieving policy... Yes, it was that bad.

Well it was only that bad because the encounter design allowed for other people not in your raid to influence the fight against you. Versus Azuregos, ya they could be annoying and try to train him away... but outside of that.. who cares if they try to screw you over and die if they don't succeed? Heh.
