Re: The Numbers
I always like the numbers used in EQ. Starting out with around 20ish+ HP. If you were a true noob, and weren't being twinked to all hell, you would be doing awesome to break 1khp at lvl 30, and thats being a warrior.
I remember when I first started. At lvl 30 I was wearing almost a full suit of Crafted Armor, can't recall wapeons, had a jagged band and an hp ring made by an enchanter, and not sure what other things I had, and I was pushing a lil over 1k at 30. I was one happy Barbarian! But if they make the hits and HP similiar to early EQ it should be pretty good. But I do agree, EQ has came along way since the release. You gotta look at it this way. Pre-Kunark if you had 2khp, duel-wielding Ykesha's, you were one leet mother scooter. Now days warriors are wielding weapons I can't even pronounce, and have 15khp unbuffed. Personelly I enjoyed EQ all the way up to PoP. I was a little weird about LDoN and GoD. I went on a few adventures in LDoN, but never even went to GoD. But after that I stopped playing at a competitive style (i.e. raiding, going for the leetest character etc..) instead I just played some alts every once in awhile to experiment with other classes/races. But anyhow, I am done ranting! ![]() |

Re: The Numbers
I'm not used to big numbers but I can see how it would make balancing a lot easier for Sigil. I'll bet some balancing options are available because of the larger numbers that usually aren't possible.
Besides it won't take too long to get used to...and you will feel like a total badass at high levels |
