Re: Class Changes
Yes, they pretty much already said that Cleric will be more like AD&D Cleric. Wearing plate, bashing head with a mace and stopping to heal a wounded player from time to time. At least that is my Cleric style and if any of you don't like it, then...well um, please let me group with you anyways
![]() If I don't end up being a Cleric (because I want to play on Kojan) then I will choose Disciple. The class looks very interesting to me and if it does end up like the cloth wearing Priest of WoW, that would be fine. But my take on the situation is this: Cleric is AD&D style, mostly healing, some nukes, some buffs/debuffs with a little tanking and dps. As opposed to Paladins who are tanks with a little healing. Disciple is a martial class which has some mind control buff/debuffs and healing. Yet I still cannot make that stretch how power of the mind can grant more hp or heal wounds. But whatever, I'll go with it. So the Disciple is primarily a healer with some martial skills. Whereas a Monk is a martial artist with a little mind trick or two in their book. That is what interests me in Disciple, they are hopefully going to be like a Monk with some martial skill and great healers. The same as how Clerics are similar to a Paladin. Clerics have some tanking skill and great heals. |

Re: Class Changes
Aye seems like Necro is the only pet class at the moment. At one point there was a Magician class but they scraped it.

Re: Class Changes
I think it's fairly likely that, if an expansion involves the implementation of new classes, the summoner/beastlord class will be added. It seems very popular.
