What does +2hs do exactly?
I now have +65 2hs from 3 pieces of gear.
I figured that I'd be considered six 1/2 levels higher when the game checks my chance to hit vs. mobs. I'm level 26 now, so I should be hitting like a level 32 when using 2hs. Apparently not though. I tried to hit a level 35, that should be within range of a level 32 player to hit. All I got was miss, miss, miss, hit for 1 damage, miss, miss. So what good is this +2hs skill? Is it doing me any good at all if my base 2hs is maxxed for my level? |

notice the raise of your cap on 2hs skill in your skills tab of your character?
It raises chances, when fighting even level mob, of either dealing dmg or precision of strikes (i forgot which increases what, move mouse over stat to see). but basically if all your other skills are maxed at 200, and your 2hs maxes out at 269, that is significant advantage in fighting a even level con wearing a 2hs weapon of comparable quality as opposed to something that is only 200 skill level |

The tooltip states that with maximum skill in 2hs that I have a 95% chance of dealing damage to an equal level mob.
That doesn't leave much room for it to get better. I was hoping to get a bonus to hit chance on higher level mobs. If that's not the case then I don't see much benefit to it. |

For example: A level 22 Dread Knight gets +50 two-handed slashing skill from some jewelry he found (Lucky him.). that puts him up to 270 (Assuming he's been using his two-handed axe from Tomb of Lord Tsang for a while.). He's now for all purposes of accuracy with melee attacks swinging as a level 27. Now he's going from hitting 22s 95% of the time to hitting 27s 95% of the time. As a tank, high accuracy equates to steady threat generation--this is far more crucial against higher level mobs. |
