Stat calculating
I've made up a little XLS tool, to calculate attributes, caps, class/race dependent.
Feel free to use it as well : VG Attribute Utility << updated with the new stats I was just tired of recalculating everything for everyone in my guild ![]() Enjoy, Saty. |

It his accurate as per the changes resulted from todays patch? According to the patch notes class no longer has a bearing on stat distribution at each level but when I change my class in this spreadsheet it changes my points. Is the because it still calculates stats via the old method? As far as I understand only your race determines your stats now, whether it is starting stats or stat additions via level progression.
EDIT: Another question, if it is accurate as per the patch, does that mean that your race determines your stat growth and your class determines your starting stats? If so, that would make sense, and I didn't think about that before posting this, so if so then its all good. EDIT 2: I removed the chart from this post and moved it below to include the new starting stats from in-game testing.

Just for shits and giggles I decided to make a table for the starting stats as well as the racial stat bonuses. With this and the knowledge that every stat gets a +1 per level, you can figure your max, naked stats at level 50. What is weird is that aside from the healers there is no diversity amongst the classes. Defensive Fighters, Offensive Fighters, and Casters are all the same, no matter what class you choose, but that is not the case for the healers. Yes I did try multiple races for each class combination and aside from the differences noted in the healer section, they are all identical. The differences in the healer section is limited to the class differences, race had no impact.
Enjoy! Code:
Starting at level 10 characters start to gain racial attributes. The following table illustrates the attribute bonus attribute points that a character will receive. All characters receive one point in every attribute each level in addition to the bonus points. Race STR CON DEX VIT WIS INT Varanjar 1 2 0 0 1 0 Varanthari 2 1 0 0 1 0 Dwarf 0 3 0 0 1 0 Dark Elf 0 0 1 0 1 2 High Elf 0 0 0 0 3 1 Wood Elf 0 0 2 2 0 0 Gnome 0 1 0 0 0 3 Goblin 0 0 0 3 0 1 Half Elf 0 0 2 1 1 0 Lesser Giant 3 1 0 0 0 0 Halfling 0 0 3 0 1 0 Kojani* 0 0 0 0 0 0 Mordebi* 0 0 0 0 0 0 Qaliathari* 0 0 0 0 0 0 Thestran* 0 0 0 0 0 0 Kurashasa 0 2 0 0 0 2 Orc 2 2 0 0 0 0 Raki 0 0 1 2 0 1 Vulmane 1 0 1 0 2 0 In addition to the bonus points each race with the exception of the four human races (Kokani, Mordebi, Qaliathari and Thestran) earns 10 attribute customization points per level. The non-human races may spend up to 4 attribute points in each attribute per level. They do not all have to be spent at the same time. At level 11 a character could have spent 8 points total in any one attribute. *The human races gain 14 attribute customization points per level and may spend 5 points in a single attribute per level. There is no longer attribute gain associated with your class. Archtype STR CON DEX VIT WIS INT Defensive -Warrior 35 50 40 35 25 25 -Paladin 35 50 40 35 25 25 -Dread Knight 35 50 40 35 25 25 Offensive -Ranger 40 40 45 35 25 25 -Rogue 40 40 45 35 25 25 -Monk 40 40 45 35 25 25 -Bard 40 40 45 35 25 25 Healers -Cleric 35 30 25 35 50 35 -Shaman 30 30 25 35 50 40 -Disciple 40 30 30 35 50 25 -Blood Mage 25 30 25 35 50 45 Casters -Sorcerer 30 25 20 35 50 50 -Druid 30 25 20 35 50 50 -Psionicist 30 25 20 35 50 50 -Necromancer 30 25 20 35 50 50

So if I am using this correctly based on my testing and the new patch notes, a Vulmane Dread Knight at level 50 with no clothes or buffs on or using any of the spendable points would have the following stats:
Code:
Race STR CON DEX VIT WIS INT Vulmane 1 - 1 - 2 - All 1 1 1 1 1 1 Dread Knight 35 50 40 35 25 25 -------------------------------------- Vulmane 40 -- 40 -- 80 -- All 40 40 40 40 40 40 Starting 35 50 40 35 25 25 -------------------------------------- Level 50 STR CON DEX VIT WIS INT Stats 115 90 120 75 145 65
