Hi all,
A friend of mine and I are thinking of jumping servers over to Test to add a few more eyes to the new stuff that Sigil is rolling out. Basically I'd like to be part of the answer on making Vanguard a better game and not be another nameless voice complaining on the Interwebs. I would like some input on is how best to help on the Test server. Anyone have any tips, suggestions, or general things to keep in mind while actually playing a character on Test? I have read the forums here and read the Test Server FAQ so I have those basics down. |

Re: How can I best help?
Be observant about everything. If something isn't working, no matter how small, /bug it. When making your bug reports be as detailed as possible. Also, don't hit your enter key to start a new line. I guess it makes the reports really larger. Just go with run-on sentences.
Crafting and Diplomacy really need attention from testers. That is where a majority of bugs seem to be showing up. (At least, right now) Last, and certainly not least, have fun. We are a very helpful community and we enjoy sharing. The best way you can repay someone who helps you is to pay it forward. See you ingame!!!

Re: How can I best help?
I can't add much to what Darkmoore said other than /join test
we are really spread out on the test server but that channel will allow you to get to know everyone as well as have a place to ask questions. I would recommend the "Who's Who on test" thread, the thread that lists the crafters on test and the <shameless plug> Test FAQ. the first two will put you in contact with some of the people you will meet on test and some of the people who may be able to craft for you (if they are not otherwise occupied and if you ask nicely) The Test FAQ will give you a basic bug template that contains most of the info that they are looking for in a bug, you can just copy/paste it and fill it out I'm an altoholic but lately I've been on demitra in an effort to get another T2 medium armor worker on the server. but if you see me around, feel free to send me a tell and say hi ![]()
