As a still die hard fan of Vanguard i am curious to know a few things.

I experienced on Live before i came to test the comunity higher end on my server at least of shildreth the higher end community is departing feeling stiffed by the lack of content for them and the fact that basic promised content has never been released.

They wanted yes the curse word "griffons" while they are occasionally tested fighting on them is still a very long way off.

Raid content well not a lot i need to say as errrmmmm its pretty much non existant.

Class balancing while some things have been changed eg monks how can you justify this change when a cleric can solo half the world?

Why oh why do you fix boats? lets be honest it would be great if say fellowships and caravans worked properly.

these are concerns from where i stand that are pushing away a higher end community now when you get the raid content in how many will be left i think people who stuck with you and the vision(tm) at least deserve some numbers and figures as to when they will see content like raiding its still listed as long term but when they cancel their accounts it will inevitably get pushed further back (less revenue).

I am now a test community player and wanted to come here not for the priveledges that come with being on test like trying out these things but for the knowledge that the game is still heading in the direction a lot of the community were hoping for.

While this is not a tell us post it would be nice if you could make a post to quell the stirrings of "this is another $oe intervention that will kill this game just like it did SWG"

Hmm ok ill edit this i have no idea why i bothered typing it not like it will get a responce i think i was just typing while contemplating if character breast size could help with bouyancy.

We know, they know...Canada knows, too. It's all being worked on. Said it a million times

They work. They're even in the game. (omg) The ones in the game are temporary quested, at the moment. FOR A REASON. Trust me, I'd rather have them in game, in a limited fashion, then have people raging on the forums about getting dismounted while flying across a chunk line.

My opinion is this: I would rather them spend time on the raid content, and make some amazing encounters, then push them out just to make people happy. I know people are pissed about this, many raiders are obviously going to be pissed. That's what they do. It'll get here. I hate to say it, but 'be patient'.

1.) There is never a 'happy medium'. Classes will never be balanced...just because one class is obviously more effective at something, be it soloing, raiding, grouping...or everything. It'll always be that way.
My opinion: Who cares? Why should every class become a watered down PoS just to make 'everyone else' happy? A perfect example is EQOA. Necros...were the best. Period. They could solo anything, and everyone knew it. Most just carried on with their play, it was ACCEPTED. If people didn't like it, they just rolled up a necro and enjoyed themselves. People in VG need to start accepting imbalances. Bugs, glitches...all that of course can't be overlooked, but, unless I see a cleric(or whatever) run up and solo the raid content that isn't in yet, I don't really care.

Why do they fix boats? CAUSE THEY'RE BUGGY. lol...joking aside, the development team doesn't all work on the same problems/mechanics(duh?). A dev that works on boats probably never would see they're part in implementing the Fellowship system.

To summarize, there are some things that developers can't just throw out. They've answered many of your questions already But they can only go so far. They've said they are working on raid stuff. They are working on high end stuff. They want to get the caravan and fellowship systems back in. They say this, everywhere. Here's my point:

If a developer said, "We have an exciting new raid encounter coming up, probably next patch." Everyone gets crazy.

Now, when they say, after the patch(after everyone had flamed them five million times for not putting it in the patch), "We are sorry the raid wasn't in the patch. It wasn't quite ready, and we may be putting this off for another week." All goes to Hell.

People flame, go crazy, cancel, die...whatever. It happens. That is the reason they don't post every bit of knowledge about mechanics changes, or things being shoved in. A simple, "The dragons are sooo badass" by Elrar on the VGRadio interview was good enough for me. I finally saw a pic, and I was like, "Wow, he was right."

Funny thing, no one said a damn thing about his comment on the boards. No one pays attention when devs are right.

I agree with the broken record....

Check out the thread Aradune Speaks. It's an post from Brad where he addresses some of these issues.

Ppl have to realize that no game is perfect. Read the thread and recognize that things didn't go as planned. It happens, it's not because lack of care. Anyway my main message to all these rants and raves and whatnot is the game is NEW. Yes they tested a lot bu it is still NEW. Not everything managed to be added. And still this is an online game, that means they can fix things continuously. Some of the older games had no hope, you got what you bought and it would never change. So why complaining so much when you actually get a better product?

One last comment about the content. They can add the content now or later. If they do it later it will be better (still there will be bugs and stuff but it will be better). Add the content now and it will be buggy and less tweeked and ppl will complain, heck they will complain when the final product is done, with all the content etc etc.

Oh yeah another comment (I guess I can't stop myself today). Balanced characters? It's nice they the characters can have some equal chance to progress through the game.... but them why there are different characters and classes. Make it only one class and everybody has the same exact chance of making it through the game. Are we balanced in RL? Not all of us are able to win a marathon, or jump from a plane, or understand quantum physics, or even cook. So why the classes should be all the same. A caster will by nature have a bit harder time in a dungeon alone. If there are more than one mob on it , the armor will not resist. SO should they make a plate armored sorcerer? We are what we are and so are the classes in game. That is life and we have to DEAL WITH IT.
