Ahhh so hold on - we're *supposed* to have that coloured text? Hubby and I were both in beta and just transitioned our clients to live, no new downloads or anything -- and we both have white combat text. I'll try that fix, see what happens.

Um, Mr. Asquinol, sir. My Live Server does not have the pretty color text and I was not part of the uber cool elite that was in beta (clearly my reputation did not proceed me)

However, one thing I have realized, I CTD more on live than I do in test. Every time I relog in from live it gives me a nondescript pop up box telling me it has to do with my settings and wants me to return to defaults and I always say no.... hrm. Probably unrelated, but I will look into this fix when I get home

do not do a uiload <name> on that or it will just go back to being no color.

Tried this, did not do a /uiload. All I did was delete the vgclient.ini and immediately w/o doing anything else went to an area with things I could attack. Didn't work. Still getting gray / white combat text.

Ok, since that did not work, then the next step is to delete vgsettings.xml
Same rule applies to the .uiload command.

K, will try again tomorrow morning. Like I said, working 12 hour days, from 330pm to 330am for a few days. So I'm not getting to play much lately.
