Possible to launch test launchpad without using the live one?
Only way I can log on to test is to go through the live launch pad first, have my UI files over-written, then click the test server link at the bottom and have my UI re-rewritten...
Anyone know a shortcut? |

Well don't know ..but being that you mention the UI files being overwritten, I think I am going to try creating my own desktop shortcut from the testserver files inside windows explorer.
Worth a try  . Currently still downloading the test server file client so it will be several hours before I will know if my experiment works. heheCend |

Use at your own risk...
Backup your Live Launch Pad Shortcut: Create a Test Server Launch Pad Shortcut pointing at:Vanguard.Exe Open the Properties Update Target to match your install with the below: "C:\Program Files\Sony\Station\LaunchPad\LaunchPad.exe" "/gamepatchpath:C:\Program Files\Sony\Vanguard" /game:vanguard /noregion /realm:live /testserver /noversioncheck Apply and close properties This shortcut will now only open to the test server verison of Launch Pad. The Live Shortcut will only patch Live when run, and the Test Shortcut will only patch Test server. Yes UI files will still download between the two, but that is another fix adjustment for the future. Namdarie |
