The transfer service is still scheduled to happen at its regularly-appointed time this Tuesday. Keep in mind that even though the Carlsbad office, where most Vanguard developers were still at, was not harmed by fire, they were a great deal closer to it. I heard from more than one of them that they had a great deal of ash to clear out of the office before it was habitable. So while we had people working, our dev team was hardly in a position to do much of anything.

Just one question concerning this character copy to test. Is this like the previous server copies to test where the copied character was only there temporarly? And, will the entire character (bank, mail,whatever) be copied or just the carried inventory? Thank you.

The copies are permanent, and may be re-copied as many times as you'd like. If you re-copy, your character will be overwritten. As to the exact contents, I am uncertain. At the very least, the contents in your inventory should be copied.

Thanks for the information Himmel. I certainly appeaciate it. However, need I say it, when is this character copy to test going to happen? It is getting rediculous that it still is not done. It was going to be done last Friday, but the scheduled raid testing could not be put off for the hour or so it would have taken to do the promised copy to test. It was supposed to be done last Tuesday, but once again, it did not happen. If there is in fact going to be a copy to test, then do it. If there is not going to be one, then tell us and be done with it. Give us a break!
