Haste Cap...

I've heard it said that the haste cap is 25%, is this proven? I haven't seen anywhere that it's documented officially, and I'd rather not waste my time trying to get more if I'm already past the cap.

Or does the cap not include buffs? is the 25% a worn item cap, and buffs are otherwise excluded? Thanks for any feed back!

If so, that would suck. My lvl 19 Bard already plays a song that gives 28% melee attack speed increase.

When my bard plays I can get up to 201.89% travel speed at level 20. Every time I add or subtract a travel element to that song, there is a difference in the speed bonus I get. Add a drum to the song and the bonus gets even better.

At this point in time, I think the haste cap is a figment of someones imagination, does not apply to bard song, or is restricted to some other ability.

in short, if there is a haste cap, it applies to something else - which would make it an ability cap

in that case, the highest I've ever been able to hit is 14% - i'm still a ways off from being able to confirm/deny that statement
