Customer Service Suggestion: Cancellation Feedback

For reasons I won't go into here, I've cancelled my Vanguard subscription.

All I got was a:

'Your account has been cancelled. Thank you for your patronage.'

No, 'why did you cancel?'....nothing.

Just disapppointed I guess. Gives the impression that they're not too concerned.

I would send a detailed email to customer service. I can understand someone wanting to give feedback and I'm sure it is valued. It may just mean you will have to go though a different process

I differ from you in one respect - if I want to cancel, I don't want to jump through hoops. I don't want to give feedback - I want out *now*. I don't want to multi-question feedback form.

I can completely understand the validity of your point though - there are those who are different from me and they WANT to provide the feedback. I respect that and am sorry not only to see you go, but for the steps you have to go through because of people like me

Another thing that part of the system is handled by SOE not Sigil you might want to route feedback about it thru the Sony forums.

Let's try this again...

Not sure why you did, but you got the form EVERYone gets when they cancelled. Quick and easy. If you have concerns, tho, let them know. I'm not sure why you decided to quit, but...we'll miss you. We do need our Sork!

And yeah...that's an SoE thing. We're little fish to them! Sigil will never see it, so do let them know! Politely and all, but it will make you feel better in the long run, I think!

just like to say, well done for a constructive criticism! a lot of people would have used that as an excuse to rant. but you said the whole thing with that little sentence. the fact that they just dont seem bothered about you leaving is the reason for your dissapointement, and i just hope that sigil take note of this and do something to keep the people in this game like yourself.

we dont want to lose people like yourself.

Im am more of the type to just get out, but it is nice to give the reasons why to the developers. just incase they make note and change the issues later.
