Steeds?
Any info on other steeds yet in-game?
I've seen pics from Cobalt on the shadowhound for a quest but anything yet for a purchasable/quest thing? Any word on those temporary Griffon-taste quests? I never looked for the camel since I am regrettably still too poor for a lvl 20 mount but if I decide on a later alt (my main is not a camel-type) to get it - is it only in one place? Because so far, I have only seen one possible camel vendor (one I did quests for pre 20 in Refugee) but that area is < 20. (I have heard the camel is less than the 3g for reg lvl 20, but horse is my main's only choice imo  hehe)

So far, the camel is the only exotic pet out there. I actually couldn't resist buying one and now there's a Raki riding around on top of it.
The single hump camels are 3g and the 2 hump camels are 3.25g. Hopefully they'll add some more info on the other mounts soon

My Dark Elf soooooooo wants a camel! Only 2.75g to go... and 2 levels.
I have absolutely nothing of use to contribute to this thread, other than my camel-coveting. (Edit -- that doesn't sound right...)

Ya, I just can't see it for my HE, DE or Varanjar.
If I ever level my Thestran rogue or Qalian Bard - sure... BTW... ummm - one hump or 2 have different prices (settle down, folks...SETTLE DOWN!)? Is there any difference between them for this extra .25gp charge for the valley vs peak thing? (no comment)

 The very oddness of it is *why* my DE bard wants a camel. Next up will be a halfling on a camel, though that would require me to make another alt and I'm currently on aversion therapy. Every time I hit the "Create Character" button a gizmo in my chair zaps me on the backside. It's not working. *zzzaaaap*

Sadly, I did not check the difference between the 2 camels while I was there.
I was having that funky NPC name change problem and wasn't sure if he'd sic his pack on me after we started chatting.I have to say, the camel is just hilarious. The between the run animation and the jumping (the camel kinda slapys his legs to the side when he jumps) just make me laugh. Too bad he rears when you stand still and hit the space bar. Be a lot better if he spit. I can foresee myself becoming an mount-a-holic in this game if the mounts are all as unique as this. I'll see if I can find a pic and throw it up somewhere for people to laugh at.
